This site is owned and operated by Phoenix Direct.  All content on this website, including graphics, design, text and all other information are the copyright of Phoenix Direct or its licensees, content providers or technology providers.  All rights are reserved.  Any material published on this site may not be used for any purpose other than browsing, shopping and placing orders with Phoenix Direct and not copied, printed or circulated without prior permission.  

Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect your statutory rights, however we shall not be held liable to you by reason of any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the terms of our contract with you, for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage (including loss of profit, costs, expenses or other claims for any damages) foreseeable or otherwise, that may arise as a result of use of our products or any other aspect of our products, practices or service. 

In these terms 'the Customer', 'you' and 'your' as appropriate refer to the buyer and 'the Company', 'we', 'us' and 'our' refer to the seller Phoenix Direct.  'Days' refers to working days, being Monday to Friday inclusive, excluding bank holidays, unless otherwise stated.

By submitting an order through this website you accept that Phoenix Direct terms and conditions apply.

Order Fulfillment Policy

Phoenix Direct shall fulfill the customer's order as soon as possible after confirming or receiving payment.  This website is updated regularly to bring the customer the latest stock availability.  Although every effort is made to ensure this information is accurate, stock availability is only as accurate as the last update.  In the event that Phoenix Direct cannot ship an order within 7 days after receiving payment, the customer will be notified and will receive a full refund for the unfulfilled order or to have an alternative recommended.  Most items can be shipped within 7 days.  However, an item can be sold out at any time.  In such a case, the customer will be notified and will have the following options:

  • Order an alternative item and pay any extra amount required.
  • Receive a partial refund if the alternative item has a different price from the original item ordered.
  • Receive a full refund for the unfulfilled order.

Tax Charges

All prices are inclusive of VAT.

Your Right to Cancel

The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 allows for a 14 days (14 working days following the day in which the customer placed the order) cooling off period within which the customer has the right to cancel the order and request a full refund.

If the customer wishes to exercise their right to a full refund, then the customer must contact Phoenix Direct customer services team on 08704 156 666 informing Phoenix Direct of their intention to return the goods.  All goods must then be posted using "Recorded Delivery" to ensure their safe arrival.  All postage costs are the customer's responsibility.  All returned goods must be unopened and in resalable condition.  Once Phoenix Direct has received the returned goods, Phoenix Direct will refund the customer money within 30 days.  The only exceptions are for specially ordered items, which cannot be cancelled.

Order Acceptance Policy

The customer can cancel their order partially or completely anytime and receive a refund.  Phoenix Direct reserves the right to reject any orders from any customer for any reason.  Phoenix Direct reserves the right to cancel orders if we do not have sufficient stock to fulfill the customer's order (E&OE).  Phoenix Direct also reserves the right to make changes to this site and these terms and conditions at any time.

Why Recycle?
Unwanted electrical equipment is the UK’s fastest growing type of waste. Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination harming wildlife and human health.

We can help
We are pleased to offer our customers the chance to recycle their old electrical items when purchasing a new item from us. Please speak to a member of staff for details on how to dispose of your Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE). Our customers must return their electrical items to be recycled at their own cost.

To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2013
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires UK distributors to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of WEEE. UK distributors (including retailers) are required to provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. As a responsible retailer, we have met these requirements by offering all customers buying new electrical and electronic equipment free take-back of their old electricals on a like-for-like basis.
